In 2020, the Education Committee has again made significant contributions to the value we provide to our Partners and members, and for 2021, we've got great plans in place to further build on this. To ensure we have the team's right capabilities, we're excited to welcome two new volunteers to the Committee - said Christina Taylor, Chair of the Education Committee.
Maria Jose Presencia, Talent Acquisition, Inclusive Diversity & Talent Management Lead for Europe at PepsiCo. When asked about joining the Committee, she says: "Exciting times! I am delighted to join the LEAD Education Committee & contribute to creating value to the D&I agenda of our partners".
Tânia Alves Silva, Project Manager & Operations Specialist at Sonae MC. She says: "Being a member of LEAD Network for about four years now, I've seen the key role the Education Committee has in pursuing the mission and goals of the organization. Knowledge is power, and I feel honored and privileged to have the opportunity to join a team whose main objective is to raise awareness and to empower leaders through a toolkit of knowledge and strategies. This toolkit allows them to thrive and to be champions for a future of inclusion and gender equality at all levels."
We're excited to have both of these talented leaders join the Committee, and please join us in welcoming them to the LEAD Network team of volunteers.
