A warm welcome to Aurelie Uricher, LEAD Network Europe's Partner Ambassador
"We need to move towards greater resilience in all human activities. It is for this reason that I am particularly proud to work for the L'OCCITANE Group, which has been promoting Diversity and Inclusion for over 40 years.
L'OCCITANE Group is a #familygroup with global reach, whose goal is to balance #profitability and #sustainability to create a company that will still be here in 100 years.
I started managing the Disability Mission in France on our industrial sites ten years ago. Today, from our international headquarters, I manage the development of our talents and the development of women focussed D&I programs.
In March 2020, we launched our first global initiative - a parental leave policy to support families of all shapes and sizes- by giving primary caregivers a minimum of 20 weeks' fully paid leave and secondary caregivers a minimum of 12 weeks' fully paid leave bond with their new child. It will apply to L'OCCITANE employees worldwide – across its offices, factories, and owned retail stores – whether the child is welcomed by birth or through adoption or surrogacy.
I firmly believe that the company's role has considerably evolved: D&I initiatives are no longer seen as cost centers but as a source of value creation"
